Redressal of Grievances

Introduction

Investor Grievance Redressal Mechanism of the Exchange aims at empowering the investors / clients by providing them a mechanism to resolve their complaints against Members of the Exchange. Exchange accords highest priority for resolution of investor complaints/disputes and has therefore constituted an Investor Grievance Cell (IGC) for redressal of investor complaints/disputes.
 
Nature of Complaints

Exchange shall provide assistance in following types of complaint:
 
  • Complaints relating to trades that are executed on the Exchange Platform.
  • Complaints in cases where no settlement could be reached between the trading member and the complainant for settlement of claims.
  • Complaints against trading members on account of the following:
    • Non- receipt of documents viz. member client agreement, contract notes, settlement of accounts, order trade log etc.
    • Non- refund of margin money by the trading member
    • Non receipt of commodity after purchase on a settlement of a contract.
    • Non-receipt / Delayed receipt of credit balance as per the statement of Account.
    • Unauthorized transactions in the account
    • Unauthorized transfer of funds from commodities account to other accounts
  • Complaints in cases where the Member has surrendered his membership and the complainant has approached the Exchange before expiry of the time period mentioned in the public notice advertised by the Exchange.
  • Such other matters which are ancillary or incidental to the trades done on Exchange platform and are within the purview of Rules, Bye-laws and Business Rules of the Exchange
 
The investors should file their complaints in the Investor Complaint Form.
 
The Investor Complaint Form shall be submitted to the Exchange at :
